Prayer meeting and Bible study is held every Wednesday at 11 a.m. and every Friday at 7 a.m. at Point Level Disciples of Christ Church.


Red Hill Missionary Baptist Church, pre-pastor anniversary revival is already in progress.The guest is pastor Dr. Evelena Oliver of St. Jude Disciples of Christ, Warsaw. St. Jude choir will render the music.


Prayer and Bible study is held every Thursday from 6-7 p.m. at the House of Prayer, Faison.


Wednesday, July 30-Aug.1, revival will be held at 7:30 p.m. nightly at Running Branch Disciples of Christ Church in Clinton. Guest speaker is Dr. Hattie J. Lofton of Four Oaks. Tonight, Jackson Grove Church choir will render the music; Thursday night,Sampson Chapel Church choir; Friday night, Red Hill MBC choir.


Friday, Aug. 1, at 7:30 p.m., St. Peter United Holiness Church in Keener is having a Joy Youth Night. The guest speaker is Minister Jamal McBride.


Saturday, Aug. 2, 6 p.m. Union Star Freewill Baptist Church in Clinton will have the quarterly meeting; all members urged to be present.


Sunday, Aug. 3, 11 a.m., quarterly service will be held at Union Star Freewill with pastor Bishop James Leftdwige bringing the message, and the New Daniel Chapel choir of Fremont will render the music.


Sunday, Aug. 3, 11 a.m., the Rev. Alice Jean Boykin will bring the message at Little Piney Grove Church in Clinton. The youth choir will render the music.


Sunday, Aug. 3, 11 a.m., Snowhill MBC, Roseboro, deacons and trustees will be observed during morning service. Pastor Dr. S.E.Bryant will bring the message and the senior choir will render the music.


Sunday, Aug. 3, 8:45 a.m., First MBC, Roseboro, will have regular service, and the pastor, the Rev. John T. Oliver, will bring the message; the mass choir will render the music. At 3 p.m., the senior ushers will celebrate their anniversary. The guest speaker is the Rev. Lesile Morrisey, accompanied by ushers, choir and congregation of Greater Six Run MBC, Turkey.


Sunday, Aug. 3, 11 a.m., service will be observed at Beaver Dam MBC on Odom Road, Clinton; guest messenger is the Rev. Bernard Spates of Big Piney Grove, Clinton. The mass choir will render the music. FMI contact Deacon Samuel Butler at 910-564-4235 or Deacon Tim Butler at 910-525-4944.

St. Stephens Holiness Church at 11 a.m. Turkey; Pastor Elder Willie Bryant/adult choir


Monday, Aug. 4,-8 at 7:30 nightly, Goshen Evangelistic Team is having a tent revival at 88 Holiday Lane in Newton Grove. Monday & Tuesday- The guest speaker is Evangelist Linda Smith; Wednesday- Evangelist Shirley Devone; Thursday and Friday - Evangelist Gail Lamb. Various choirs will render the music.


Thursday, Aug. 7, Snowhill MBC, Roseboro summer trip ministries will travel to the Lion’s Water Adventure Park in Kinston.


Saturday, Aug. 9, 1 p.m. The youth dept. at Brown’s Chapel will sponsor a Back to School program. More information next week.


Saturday, Aug. 9, at 4 p.m. First MBC is having a Back to School Rally. The theme is: Making Preparation. The guest speaker is Dr. Tremayne Johnson of New Port News, Va. The musical guests are: D-Rock puppets, praise dancers and flag dancers. The youth choir will render the music. After the service, school supplies will be given out.


The Western Assembly Disciples of Christ Churches will have their Floral Auxiliary Convention Saturday, Aug. 9, at 10 a.m. at the Western Assembly Disciples of Christ Headquarter Building on Hwy 701 S. Newton Grove. Our motto is: Blooming For Jesus. We are looking forward for your support, your encouragement, your present and prayers. Mother Carrie Atkinson, president; Eldress Belinda Strickland, vice president.
