Pastor’s Aide Ministry will sponsor a Pre-Pastoral Anniversary Revival in honor of the Rev. Mark D. Powell’s 9th pastor anniversary on July 10-11 at 7:30 p.m. nightly. The Rev. Marvin T. Clowney of Christ M B Church, Faison will be the guest messenger along with choir and congregation on July 10 and the Rev. Larry Baker of Coats, along with choir and congregation, will be the guests on July 11. The pastoral anniversary will be observed on Sunday, July 13. The Elder Eddie Parker and Mingle Hill DOC Church, Salemburg will render the 11 a.m. service. The Rev. Jeremy Buie and Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Riegelwood will deliver the afternoon service at 4 p.m.. Annual Senior Citizen’s Appreciation Day will be observed on Sunday, July 27 at 11 a.m. Dinner will be served. Pastor Mark D. Powell will deliver the message. Music will be rendered by the adult choir.

The theme is “Jungle Safari: Where Kids Explore The Nature Of God.” Robert’s Grove is located in the Spivey’s Corner community at 725 Robert’s Grove Road, near Midway Middle School. The Daughters of Zion will hold their annual Candlelight March July 13, beginning at 4 p.m. Guest speaker will be the Rev. Victor Wilson of Lisbon St. MB Church, Clinton, along with choir, ushers and congregation. Youth revival July 16-18, 7 p.m. nightly. Theme: Stepping Out in Faith. Elder Albert Almore, St. John MB Church, will be the three-night preacher. Mime, dancing and singing will be included. On Saturday, July 19, True Vine Ministries, Fayetteville, will present a Praise Conference. Workshops begin at 10 a.m. and include praise and worship, leadership, mime, dance and flag. Lunch will be served and a $3 donation would be appreciated. At 5 p.m. a concert will be held to demonstrate all that was learned during the workshops.
