Lakewood’s soccer team got their first conference win on Wednesday as they brought home a 4-1 win against Neuse Charter.

The four Leopards who found the back of the net were Francis Florez, Lloosman Zabala, and with 2 goals, Irving Ramirez.

Lakewood head coach Jay Faircloth was thrilled with the win and proud of the improvements his team has made so far this season.

“Tonight’s game was close to perfection. I just hope we are able to move forward with it. I’m extremely proud of the boys, and the way they played. We moved the ball good, communicated, and our defense was outstanding. Neuse Charter is a good team, and we didn’t let up throughout the whole game,” asserted Coach Faircloth.

The Leopards will host Princeton on Monday.
