The Lady Wildcats split with Rosewood on the Eagles home turf in volleyball action. The varsity fell in three sets, 25-6, 25-14, and 25-8, but the Wildcat JV won two out of three, 25-9, 18-25, and 25-21.

“The varsity had a good run in the second game, but they just couldn’t get started,” Hobbton head coach Russell Jones said.

“The junior varsity had a good serving rotation. No. 13 Madalyn Rush served 10 straight points. The score was 5-9 when she came up and it was 15-9 when she finally lost the serve,” Coach Jones added.

Hobbton will host James Kenan on Tuesday.
