Midway traveled to Trask and brought home a 3-1 soccer win on Wednesday.

The Raiders were up 3-0 at halftime. This was after goals by Jonathan Garcia with an assist by Faustino Espino; a goal by Alex Boggs off an assist by Uvaldo Acosta; and another Jonathan Garcia goal from an assist by Justin Stephenson.

Raider head coach Alan McLamb was very pleased with the way his team played both on offense and defense.

“I thought we moved the ball well. The team felt comfortable on the field tonight. The mid-field and defensive back really did a good job and got us where we needed to be to win this game,” Coach McLamb explained.

Midway moves up to 7-7-2 overall and 5-6 in the conference.

The Raiders have 3 games next week. Senior night is Monday when they play their last home game and it’s against West Bladen. Midway travels to Union on Wednesday and then to Pender on Thursday to end the season before playoffs begin on Wednesday, Oct. 30th.
