The varsity boys Crusaders continued their 4-0 winning streak on Friday as they took down Davidson Day School, 75-62, at Harrells.
The Crusaders jumped to a 9 point lead after the first quarter, but DD worked their way back into the game, closing the gap by 4 points at halftime to 33-29. At the end of the 3rd quarter, Harrells was just 5 points up, 53-48, but managed to stretch that gap to 13 points by the end of the game.
The leading the scoring for Harrells was senior Graham DiPinto with 20 points and 12 rebounds. Marcus Scarboroug put in 19 points, with 4 assists, and 3 steals. Zack Carlton scored 11 points and had 3 assists. Donta Chavious scored 5 points and pulled down 3 rebounds. Sophomore Quate McKinzie scored 15 points and grabbed 12 rebounds.
The Crusaders’ next home game is after the break on January 7 versus Village Christian Academy.
