Clinton’s girls soccer team proved that they are number 5 in the state rankings for a reason with their impressive 7-0 win over Trask Friday evening.

Halla Gilpin had 3 goals to lead Clinton. Emily Valenti, Tori Tyndall, Olivia Sessoms, and Nicole Spell each scored a goal for the Lady Dark Horses, who continue to play great soccer.

Coach Jeff Smith was pleased on the sideline with the way his team was playing. They controlled the game from the opening minutes, and never looked back.

Clinton improves to 4-1-1 with the win and are now 2-0 in the conference. They are scheduled to host Pender Tuesday evening, in hopes of their third conference win.
