Teen Living students earn certificate

The following Clinton High School students have received their EverFi Financial Literacy Certification certificate: Malana Bryant, Patrick Maldonado, Charica Joyner, Toni Sinclair, DeJhoun Newkirk, Tanonye Matthews and Malaysia Washington from Tracy Hatcher’s Teen Living classes. During the unit on Consumer/Money Management, students were given the opportunity to explore an website computer learning program that was sponsored through BB&T. This program empowered students with critical financial knowledge and skills for the 21 century. Students were able to recognize the impact of financial decisions and apply real-world situations to interactive exercises through the latest 3D on-line technology. Students were given the task to complete nine different modules. ‘TheEverFi program truly helped my students to see the importance of money management and how upon thoughts decisions you make how they affect you for a long time,’ said Hatcher.
