On March 20, Roseboro Salemburg Middle School eighth-graders took a trip to Barton College in Wilson. While on campus the students received information about college admissions, scholarships, programs offered, participated in a scavenger hunt to tour the campus, and experienced college life. On March 14, the Roseboro Salemburg Middle School seventh and eighth-grade chorus traveled to Raleigh to Ligon Middle School to perform at the NC Music Performance Adjudication. They performed two songs for the judges, ‘Something Told The Wild Geese’ by Poterfield and ‘A Travelin’ folk song by Gilpin. They received Excellent for the performance and for sight reading. The chorus is led by Mrs. Jennifer Matthews.
