The students were given information on admissions, a tour of campus, a question/answer session with a current students, and dined on campus. Bambi Dove, college advisor/scholars coordinator for Hobbton/Union High schools, encourages all students to visit several colleges before deciding on which school to attend. College applications are being submitted feverishly by seniors and Dove stated that College Application Week (CAW) is approaching for those who have not yet applied. CAW is Nov. 18-22 and many North Carolina colleges will waive their application fee during this week. Interested students should see their college advisor/scholars coordinator for more information.
