Union Intermediate School recently recognized students for their outstanding achievement by nominating them to participate in the Duke University Talent Identification Program, also known as Duke TIP.
This highly selective program for fourth- through sixth-graders honors students for their academic achievements. Participation enables students to utilize online curriculum and resources, receive publications that support gifted students, and participate in summer residential programs or day programs held on the Duke University campus. Also, an optional part of the program, is the EXPLORE test which students can take to provide insight into individual student academic abilities in English, math, reading, and science.
We offer congratulations to these students, Union Intermediate staff said.
