Courtesy photoCarlie Piercy earned one of the highest honors in the 4-H program, the senior Achievement Award, which was presented to her during the recent 2012-13 Sampson County 4-H Achievement Banquet. She was also named the senior 4-Her of the Year. In the local 4-H program, Piercy is a member of the Home Runners Club where she served as secretary this year and is a member of the Livestock Bull's Eye Club where she showed heifers and served as president. Piercy also participated in Skillathon and Judging as well as Youth Leadership. This year, she earned pins in Favorite Foods and DAD demonstration activities and won silver at the state level for her Animal Science Cumulative Project Book.
