It’s time for the annual Pigskin Jamboree , which kicks off at 7 p.m. Friday night, and this may be the only time you get to see your two favorite teams playing each other due to the realignment of conferences this year.

Clinton, Union, and Midway are in the Four County 1A/2A Conference, and Lakewood and Hobbton are in the Carolina 1A Conference.

Gates open at 6:30 p.m. and admission is $6. All five schools split the proceeds. Game time is 7 p.m.

Two games will be going on simulatniously at each end of the field while one team sits out. The games last 10 minutes and then the teams switch. Each team will play twice.

There will be a short halftime after all the teams play each other the first time. That’s when two of the four $100 raffle tickets will be drawn. The first drawing will be for the $200 winner and the second drawing will be the $300 winner.

At the end of the event, the final two drawings will be held: for $500 and $1,000.

Tickets will be available at the event or from a high school athletic director.
