Midway’s soccer team dominated Pender, 9-1 Monday evening in Spivey’s Corner. The Raiders were able to play every player, and get good minutes from everyone.

The goals were scored by Manasia Cobb and Anna Apperson, who each had 2 goals. Dejah Jackson, Kimberly O’Brien, Avery Apperson, Olivia Davis, and Jakish Williams each scored a goal as well.

Ashlyn Warren had an assist, and Avery Apperson had 3 assists in the easy win.

“We were able to play everyone today, and everyone gave us something. It really was a team win. I am so proud of the girls for the way they played, and we feel like we are still getting better,” said Midway’s head coach, Trey Apperson.

Midway is now 10-4 on the season and will travel to Trask High School for a battle with the Titans on Tuesday. There are just 3 games remaining in the regular season for Midway before the playoffs begin.
