The start of a new school year

Editor:

The start of a new school year brings with it numerous opportunities for our students. Our teachers will have the opportunity and responsibility for enriching our students through active engagement on a daily basis. We made many accomplishments in the 2016-2017 school year; however, we are looking forward to continuous improvement toward excellence during the 2017-2018 school year. We received AdvancED certification, and was named on the AP Honor Roll. Our successes would not be successful without our community, personnel, or our students and their families. We are truly: Preparing the Future, Together!

As we approach the start of this school year, we would like to remind our community to be extra careful on the roadways as the school buses will be traveling to and from school. Our school bus drivers transport vital stakeholders to our schools each day. We appreciate everyone being extra careful on the roads and highways.

Preparing the Future, Together would not be as efficient without our four strategic priorities (high performing students, high performing staff, high performing communication, and high performing learning environments) which are the heart of every decision we make for our stakeholders. These priorities are the cornerstones for continuous improvement within our school system. Our students deserve a world-class organization.

We strive for excellence from our school system and we owe our students the best we have to offer. It takes constant communication between home and school to reach excellence. If questions and/or concerns arise during the school year, please contact your child’s school. We encourage each parent to be actively involved in their child’s education.

We wish everyone a happy and successful 2017-18 school year. See you at open house on Aug. 24th !!!
