Sampson County Parks & Recreation (SCPR) and Friends of Sampson County Waterways (FSCW) next community paddle trip is on Saturday, August 22. We will "put in" at the 701 Bridge (north of Garland) and “take out” at Hwy 903 - Lisbon Bridge (Celon's). This section is about 7 miles. Anyone that has their own equipment is welcome to come along. If you NEED equipment, please call SCPR at 910-299-0924 to register. Space is limited! The cost is $15/person or $30/family. This fee includes use of a boat, paddle and life vest. Anyone ages 4 and up are welcome; however, children must be accompanied by an adult. Participants will need to bring their lunch, water, change of clothes and any other personal items needed for being outside all day. For more information or to register, call Ali at 910-299-0924.
