Appreciation service for Williamson this Saturday

The 24th appreciation service for Mrs. Mae Bell Williamson will be held Saturday, Aug. 4, at First Baptist Church, 900 College St., in the fellowship hall, beginning at 6 p.m. Several guest speakers will participate: Rep. Larry Bell, Sheriff Jimmy Thornton and apostle Marcus Becton. The following singing groups will participate: the Mount Pleasant Praise Team of Clinton; the New Beginners in Christ; Ram in the Bush; Wilson Chapel Praise Team; Jackson Grove Gospel Choir; Jerusalem Travelers; Snow Hill Male Chorus; The Genesis Singers of Fayetteville; C.J. Morrisey and Family; The Way of the Cross; Jacklin Williams (mime) of Rose Hill; Charles Underwood; and others.

The Red Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Clinton, will celebrate the ninth anniversary of their pastor, the Rev. Ray Bolton and first lady Sunday, Aug. 5, at 11 a.m. The guest speaker will be pastor Anthony Blue, choir and congregation of the Victory In The Word Ministry of Clinton. Dinner will be served following the morning service. At 3:30 p.m., the guest speaker will be pastor Marvin T. Clowney, choir and congregation of the Christ Missionary Baptist Church in Salemburg.

Union Star Free Will Baptist Church, Clinton, will have their joint quarterly service Sunday, Aug. 5, at 11 a.m. The pastor, bishop James Leftdwrige, will bring forth the morning message and New Daniels Chapel Free Will Baptist Church of Fremont will render the music. The host pastor is James Leftdwrige.

The annual revival will be held at the Running Branch Disciple Church, Clinton, Wednesday night, Aug. 1-3, at 7:30 p.m. nightly. The guest speaker on Wednesday night will be elder Donald Graham, choir and congregation. On Thursday will be the Rev. Louie Boykin and Red Hill choir; and on Friday night will be the Rev. Parker, choir and congregation of the Mingle Hill Disciple Church. On Sunday, Aug. 5, will be Old Fashion Day. The pastor, Calvin Deans, will bring forth the morning message. Dinner will be served at 1:30 p.m.

The pastor and members of the Cooper’s Chapel United Holy Church, Clinton, will have a mission program Sunday, Aug. 5 at 3 p.m. The guest speaker will be eldress Doris Johnson. She will be accompanied by the Ram In The Bush Church family. The host pastor Thelma Waters invites the public to attend.

The annual Home Mission Service will be held at the Union Star Free Will Baptist Church, Clinton, on Sunday, Aug. 19, at 3 p.m. Guest speaker will be pastor Thelma Waters of the Cooper’s Chapel Holiness Church will render the service.

Regular morning worship service will be held at the Little Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church Sunday, Aug. 5, at 11 a.m. The speaker will be the Rev. Alice Jean Boykin, who will bring forth the morning message and will be accompanied by the youth choir.

The Christ Missionary Baptist Church , now located at Salemburg Elementary School, will have its regular morning worship service Sunday, Aug. 5, at 10 a.m. The pastor, the Rev. Marvin T. Clowney, will bring forth the morning message and the choir will render the music.

Deacon and Trustee Day will be held at the Snowhill Missionary Baptist Church, Roseboro, Sunday, Aug. 5, at 11 a.m. The pastor, the Rev. S.E. Bryant, will bring forth the message and the senior choir will render the music. On Sunday, Aug. 19, the church family will celebrate their ushers’ anniversary at 3 p.m. The guest speaker will be the Rev. Thomas Farrow Jr., of First Baptist Church, 900 College St., Clinton, accompanied by his choir and congregation.

Trinity United Free Will Holiness Church, Clinton, will have service Sunday, Aug. 5, beginning at 9 a.m. for Bible class and morning worship at 10 a.m. Pastor Ann Mosson will deliver the morning message and music will be rendered by the choir. Faith Tabernacle Deliverance Ministry will have service at the Friendly Community Center, Clinton, Sunday, Aug. 5, at 3 p.m. David Wells will do his initial sermon on Aug. 11, at 2 p.m. Also, Vivian Cuffin will do her initial sermon and music will be done by different choirs. Ram In the Bush Church, Clinton, will host Family and Friends Day Saturday, Aug. 4, 11 a.m., at the Royal Lane Park in Clinton. The church services are held each second, third and fourth Sundays. Sunday school begins at 10 a.m. and morning worship at 11 a.m. Bible study is held every Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. and noon day service is every Wednesday.

Regular morning worship service will be held at the Brown’s Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, H.B. Lewis Road, Sunday, Aug. 5, at 11 a.m. The pastor, the Rev. Jeffery White, will bring forth the morning message and the senior choir will render the music.

Regular morning worship service will be held at the Lisbon Street Missionary Baptist Church, Clinton, Sunday, Aug. 5, at 11 a.m. The guest speaker will be the Rev. Gene King of the Louis Chapel Church of Fayetteville, accompanied by the gospel choir.

Point Level Disciple of Christ Church will hold a musical program Sunday, Aug. 5, at 3 p.m. Event is sponsored by the Point Level DOCC Male Chorus Building Fund. For more information, call Linda Faison at 919-963-3345. The host pastor is elder Dannie Robinson.

The Way of the Cross Ministries Church of Turkey presents its 2012 women’s conference Aug. 10 at 7:30 p.m. The guest speaker will be prophetess Ursula Wright, an apostolic prophetic herald anointed with governmental authority to transform the earth with heaven’s sound. On Aug. 11, at 1 p.m., the guest speaker will be apostle Ursula Wright.
