Shirley Carter recently attended the Senior Talent competition at the Church of God in Gatlinburg, Tenn.
“I had a great time being able to compete in the senior talent in Gatlinburg, Tenn.,” shared Carter.
This event was hosted by the Church of God; churches from Ohio, North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Virginia, South Carolina were all represented at this event.
“Even though I did not place I received a medal of participation. It was a great experience to share my talent the God has given me with other seniors and fellowship with other church members,” expressed the senior citizen.
“I would like to thank those who bought scarf’s; I hope they bless you as much as they blessed me making them. I would also like to thank Ann’s Sew n Vac and Owens Home Furniture for your generosity. Thanks for all the support everyone showed to help fund my trip and buy yarn to make to the scarf’s. Thanks from the bottom of my heart and God bless,” remarked Carter.
