GREENSBORO — Mr. Charles Henry King, 66, of 706 Dale St., died Friday, Feb. 8, 2013 at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro.

A celebration of life service will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, at Hope Valley Funeral Chapel at 1275 Hobbton Hwy., Clinton.

Charles was born July 12, 1946 in Sampson County to the late Thomas & Sara Monk King. He attended Pleasant Grove High School. He pursued a career at Devil Dog Manufacturing Co. for 15 years. Mr. King had a great love of music, he loved to play guitars and pianos. He was a pianist for Cedar Point Church in Newton Grove.

Charles is survived by daughters, Sherlamon Holmes and Tinesha Holmes, both of Dunn; a sister, Mary Anna Field of Long Island, N.Y.; and three grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, monetary donations will be accepted at Hope Valley Funeral Service & Cremation, 1275 Hobbton Hwy., Clinton, N.C. 28328. The King family has entrusted Hope Valley Funeral Service & Cremation.
