Civitans cut ribbon
The Sampson County Civitans had a ribbon cutting as new Chamber members on Friday, Sept. 14 in front of the 'Milling Around' artwork in downtown Clinton. Current president Wayne Spencer, cut the ribbon with fellow Civitans Sandra Clifton and Brenda Thompson on his right and left, respectively, along with Chamber members. The Sampson County Civitans is an all-volunteer international service organization for individuals interested in being involved in community service projects. They have been serving special needs students, K-12, and adult special needs programs since 1974. The Sampson County Civitans have meetings the first and third Tuesday each month at 6:30 p.m. at Zeng's Palace in Clinton. For more information, contact J.C.
