SALEMBURG — Mrs. Elizabeth Riner Sessoms, 83, of 212 Laurel Lake Road, died Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012 at Carrol S. Roberson Hospice Center.

The funeral will be at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at Butler Funeral Home with the Rev. Andy Wood officiating. Burial will follow at the Salemburg First Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Sessoms was born on Aug. 17, 1929 in Mecklenberg County to the late Lee Ervin Riner and Lessie Sessoms Riner. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Randall Sessoms and two sons, Kenneth Ray Sessoms and Bill Sessoms. She was a store clerk for BP Station.

She is survived by one son, David Allen Sessoms of Salemburg; and one sister, Alice Faircloth of Salemburg.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the funeral.
