AUTRYVILLE — Mrs. Elsie Naylor Hall, 89, of 1644 Halltown Road, died on Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013 at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, at Long Branch Baptist Church with the Rev. Richard Spell officiating. Burial will follow at the T.J. Hall Cemetery in Autryville.

Mrs. Hall was born on July 27, 1923 in Sampson County to the late Arrell Tilman and Nannie Buchannan Naylor. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lewis Allen Hall; daughter, Esther Hall Greenwell; brother, Arrell Prentice Naylor; and two great-grandchildren, Amanda Jane Honeycutt and John Wesley Sims IV. She was a seamstress with Stedman Garment Company.

She is survived by three granddaughters, Charylene F. Honeycutt and husband, Joe of Autryville, Julia F. McPhail and husband, Layton of Autryville and Valerie F. Fann and husband, Bennett of Salemburg; one grandson, Tifton Allan Faircloth and wife, Karese of Autryville; one sister, Dorothy Naylor Fitzgerald of Wilmington; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9, at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro and other times at 1478 Carroll Store Road, Autryville.
