Fifth-grade class wins intermurals
Union Intermediate School held its winter intramurals right before the Christmas break. The classes competed against one another in a back-board dodge ball tournament. The champions of the tournament was Mrs. Gail Shepard's fifth grade class. Union Intermediate staff said they would like to send a special thanks to Kevin Johnson (PE teacher), Pauline Cole (Sampson County Parks & Rec.), Jojo Smith and Carl Riley (parent volunteers) for their help in making this a successful event. Spring intramurals are planned for late March.
