EASTOVER — Mr. Fulton Rupert Parker, 88, of 2937 Dunn Road, passed away on Friday, Dec. 28, 2012 at his home.

The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 31, at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman with the Rev. Andy Wood officiating. Burial will follow in the Parker Family Cemetery in Clinton.

Mr. Parker was a native of Sampson County, the son of the late Paul Eugene and Beulah Honeycutt Parker. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Evelyn Parker and Anna Jane Sears, and three brothers, Charlie Henry Parker, Carlos Parker and Ottis Parker. He was a co-owner of Cumberland Tractor Company for 33 years.

He is survived by wife, Edith Grey Parker of the home; two daughters, Martha Parker Lampros and husband Steve of Wilson, and Ruth Anne Parker Goodman of Wilmington; a granddaughter, Blaire Lampros of Wilmington; sister, Christine Parker Byrd of Burlington; two brothers, Winford D. Parker and wife, Lila Ruth and Ernest Parker all of Clinton; and his caregivers, Ada Graham, Gwen Graham and Alice Lewis.

The family will receive friends from 12 to 1 p.m. on Monday at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman and at other times at the home.
