ROSE HILL — Mr. George Carlyn Boykin, 69, of 1513 Bill Town Road, died on Friday, July 27, 2012.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 2, in the Hayes Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Alfred Holston officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Boykin is survived by sons, Kim D. McKoy Sr., Garland, and David Boykin, Cayce, S.C.; sisters, Melba Pittman, Wilmington, Elemmia Hayes, Greensboro, Rebecca Hill, Garland; brothers, Jay L. Boykin, Elmendorf, Texas, John Boykin Brooklyn, N.Y.
