The Lady Crusaders of Harrells Christian split with Wake Christian during JV and varsity matches Tuesday.
The JV got the sweep, winning in two, 25-13; 25-22.
The varsity lost its first match of the season, 25-13; 12-25; 21-25; 11-25.
For the JV, Abigail Blanchard had 1 dig, 1 kill, 2 assists, 2 aces; Ashley Usher, 3 digs, 6 aces; Mary Kate Murray, 2 digs, 3 assists, 2 aces; Riley Evans, 1 dig, 2 aces; and Sophie Campbell, 1 dig, 3 kills
For the varsity, Chloe Campbell had 3 aces, 4 kills; Margaret Clark, 3 aces, 4 kills; Anna Huff, 6 kills, 3 blocks; and Regan Murphy, 12 kills
The JV and varsity will play again next Tuesday, Sept. 11, when they host Coastal Christian High
