The Hobbton High School Class of 1977 held its 35th reunion at Hong Kong City in Clinton on June 30. There were 20 members present out of the class of 95 graduates. Members present were: Terry Lee, Craig Warren, Bobby Fryar, Jesse Bell, Odean Fields, Michael Mozingo, Ronnie Brewer (Class Salutatorian), Ray Best (Class Valedictorian), Keith Warwick, Rufus Honeycutt, Jeff Warren, Ronnie Daughtry, Emanuel ‘Peanut’ Cheatham, Vanessa Hill, Terry Thornton Bryant, Robin Armwood, Doris Simmons Peoples, Lisa Edwards Calcutt, Leigh Sumner and Denise Brewer Bullard. Deceased members were remembered with special prayer, including: Debbie Wilson, Richard Parker, Gary McNair, C.J. Jackson, Geraldine Joyner, Jasper Hobbs, Ruth Faison, Wilma Wilson and Jerry Hill.
