KENANSVILLE – The James Sprunt Community College Foundation is preparing for its 27th JSCC Foundation Golf Tournament Fundraiser to be held Thursday, Oct. 4, at River Landing Country Club in Wallace.

The annual tournament is the main fundraising event for JSCC in support of student scholarships and other programs, as James Sprunt serves a record number of students working to achieve their educational and career goals.

Sign up to support your college and your community no later than Sept. 24. This year’s teams are limited to 32 and will tee off at noon with a shotgun start. The four-person superball format for men and women will be pre-flighted, based on handicaps. Flight winners will be determined and prizes awarded at the conclusion of play.

If golfing isn’t your game, consider being a hole, team, scholarship, or tournament sponsor this year. All sponsorships except Hole Sponsorships include entry fee for four-person team, lunch, refreshments, and gift bags. Sponsorship categories include Tournament Sponsor for $2,500 and Scholarship Sponsor for $1,100 which also include large sponsor sign with company/individual name on scoreboard and tee box, and prominent listing in tournament program; Team and Hole Sponsor for $475 which also includes sponsor sign with company/individual name on tee box, and listing in tournament program; Team Sponsor for $400 which also includes listing in tournament program; or Hole Sponsor for $100 which includes sign with company/individual name on tee box only.

The entry fee is $400 per team or $475 per team with hole sponsorship, and includes greens fees, cart rental, gifts, refreshments, and lunch for each player.
