Matthew 4:4a; “He answered and said it is written.” These three words (it is written) launched Jesus’ ministry. If you want to keep something from a Christian put it in the Bible. The reason you find so many unhappy Christians is because they don’t read. That’s why there are so many people walking around all uptight. It’s because they are not reading. They know traditions and customs and they go to church, pay their tithes and look the part. Know all the jargons but unhappy and unhealthy. In this text Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by Satan. After fasting for 40 days and 40 nights Jesus was hungry. Satan said if you are the Son of God command that these stones be made bread. Jesus said, “It is written,” meaning you’ve got to read. “Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. Reading God’s Word provides nourishment for your mind, your body and your spirit. When you are full of God’s Word and you fall into trials and tribulations because you have been eating “Happy Meals” you respond differently.

It’s time for these three words to mark your life! It’s time for you to put an end to the harassment of the devil! You don’t have to allow your circumstances to determine the way you think, they way you live, or the level of joy, peace, wholeness, and righteousness you have in your life. God has made a promise for every situation you’ll ever experience in this life. And it’s time to start responding like Jesus and declare —It is WRITTEN!

It’s time for you to see the power of those three words released in your health, your relationships, your finances, and every area of your life…and I want to show you how.

We live in a society that is overwhelmed by anxiety, worry, and fear. As much as 40% of prescription medications go to treat anxiety based disorders. But the truth is no man can free you from panic. No one can give you peace. But if you’ll keep your mind stayed on God, He’ll give you the peace you need!

We need more MEDITATION and less MEDICATION! A major source of anxiety and worry is what you think about, what you meditate on. You think about all your problems and things that can go wrong, and they end up coming to pass. Meditation leads to expectation, which produces manifestation. I’m going to show you how to meditate on the things of God, His Word and His promises, so that you’ll have the perfect peace Isaiah 26:3 talks about.

Even in the midst of trials, you can walk in perfect peace. And you know what? The peace you have on the inside will bring you through every fire and EVERY STORM, and eventually transform the world around you! You don’t have to wait until everything in your life is perfect, or when you’ve overcome every trial in your life, in order to have peace. You can have peace today by simply focusing your mind on Jesus and the Word of God!

I encourage everybody to put the phone down, the IPad down, put the IPod down and get you a daily devotional. Psalm 1: 1-2; “Happy is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.”

You can be like the old deacon on one knee saying, “Bread of Heaven, Bread of Heaven feed me till I want no more.” I urge you to read more and meditate on God’s Word and speak the words, “IT IS WRITTEN!” By Faith I Keep Pressing On!
