Lakewood’s JV Leopards traveled to Wildcat Country Thursday night, but they showed no fear as they penned up the ‘Cats in a 32-0 victory.

It was Lakewood’s game from the start, with both the offense and defense clicking on all cylinders.

Ramon Leech got things started for Lakewood’s JV when he got a 57-yard touchdown run in the first quarter. The extra point failed, but the Leopards were on the board 6-0.

Frankie Faircloth added to the score in the second quarter when he rushed for 57 yards and the TD. Leech got the 2-point conversion and Lakewood was up 14-0.

Lakewood’s Jira Cooper caught an 8-yard pass from quarterback Mickey Spell before the half. The point after failed, but the Leopards headed to the locker room with a 20-0 leads.

It was more of the same in the second half, as Lakewood dominated. Leech took one in from 23 yards out to put the Leopards up 26-0.

Then Spell sealed the deal in the fourth quarter when he ran it in from a yard out for the 32-0 victory.

Statistics provided by O.B. Autry show that Leech rushed for 120 yards on the afternoon; Ray Hayes rushed for 38 yards.

Cooper had 4 tackles; Josh Hall had 7 tackles and 1 sack; Sydney Ivey had 6 tackles and Faircloth had 4 tackles.
