The Harrells Christian Academy girls scorched visiting O’Neal Tuesday night 54-18.

The Crusader defense was on fire in the first half, holding the visitors scoreless in the first quarter and allowing them to score only 4 points in the second period while, at the same time, amassing 30 points of their own.

The second half was much the same, as the defense created play after play and the offense made them count. By the end of the third period, the Lady Crusades had outscored O’Neal 10 to 6 and then added another 14 points in the final frame while holding the vistors to only 8.

Daisha Jordan had the hot hand for Harrells Tuesday, scoring 18 points and adding 4 rebounds, 5 steals, 5 steals and 1 block.

Also scoring for the Lady Crusaders was Haylee Parks, 8 points, 7 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 block; Anna Huff, 6 points, 8 rebounds; Anna DeVane, 6 points, 2 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 blocks; Emily Benton, 5 points, 3 rebounds; Emily Searles, 4 points; Bucky Everette, 3 points, 6 rebounds; 4 steals; Chloe Campbell, 2 points, 5 rebounds, 4 steals; and Margaret Clark, 2 points, 5 rebounds and 3 steals.

The win moves the Lady Crusader record to 11-1 overall and a perfect 3-0 in conference play. They travel to Fayetteville Christian for a Friday game.
