SEAFORD, Del. — Mrs. Mary Ann Williams Chapman, 97, of 13 Channel St., died Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012 at Delmar Nursing Center in Cedar, Del.
Mrs. Chapman was born 1914 in Lenoir County, to the late James Williams and the widow of the late Maryland Chapman and also preceded in death by a sister, Hattie Burnett and a brother, Pearly Jones.
A home-going service will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 29 at St. Jude Holiness Church on H.B. Lewis Road Clinton with the elder Willie Bryant officiating. She will be laid to rest in a ceremony immediately following the service in Sandhill Cemetery.
Mrs. Chapman leaves to cherish a host if nieces and nephews.
Public viewing will be held from 2 until 7 p.m. with the family present from 6 until 7 p.m., Friday, Sept. 28 at Hope Valley Funeral Service & Cremation, 1275 Hobbton Hwy., Clinton and other time at the home of Elder Willie and Sally Bryant, 2207 Old Raleigh Road, Clinton.
The Chapman-Bryant family has entrusted services to Hope Valley Funeral Service & Cremation of Clinton.
