Midway Middle’s volleyball team swept Roseboro-Salemburg Tuesday afternoon, taking the match 25-8, 25-22 and 25-10.
Coach Tracey Wrench praised her girls for strong play throughout, and said every girl got playing time, something that makes her, as a coach, very happy.
“It was a good game,” she said.
She praised the play of all her girls, but noted that Hannah Lucas had shown outstanding hitting and had gotten quite a few digs in the game.
Also mentioned for strong play was Hannah Wilson who had more than 8 straight service points; Leah Williams with 4 or more service points; Alex Cannady with 4 or more service points; and Abbey Baggett with 3 service points
