Due to the inclement weather which has drenched the area over the past few days, the Sampson County Middle School Conference championship games, scheduled for today, Nov. 12, have been rescheduled due to poor field conditions.

According to Sampson County School’s Becky Jackson, director of middle school education, the games have been rescheduled for Monday, Nov. 16.

The soccer championship game, between Union and Sampson middle schools will kick off Monday at 4 p.m.

For the football championship game, Midway and Union middle schools will face off at 6 p.m. or immediately following the soccer game.

Both the soccer and football championship games will be held at Clinton High School.
