Midway earns banner
Midway Middle School was recently recognized by the Board of Education with a banner for the school and its students, faculty and staff. They were named a School of Distinction for 2011-12 and received the recognition of High Growth. Schools of Distinction have to meet growth and have between 80-89 percent of their students proficient. Schools of High Growth went above and beyond what the state expected them to grow.
