JT Miller 6 foot 3 inch shooting guard is now attending Charis Prep Academy under head coach Carlos Peralta. JT Miller enrolled on August 7th. Charis Prep is located at 801 Reid Street East, Wilson NC 27893.
Miller graduated from Clinton High School June 9 with a 3.3 Core GPA and is now fully qualified per the NCAA Clearinghouse for Division I College attendance. He had full scholarship offers from La Salle University, Citadel, Long Island University, Jacksonville University, New Hampshire University, Marist University, LMU, ASU, Winthrop and high interest from Wake Forest, UT, UVA, VT, USC, UNCG, UNCW, High Point, Radford, and ECU.
He made the decision, however, to attend prep school after returning from Las Vegas with the SEBL 17U Elite travel team. He stated that he wanted to strengthen his body and improve on his overall game before going off to school.
