Worship Center

Ceder Point

Pastor Gary D. Jones and Cedar Point Church Family will host a “Ride for a Cure” Motorcycle Ride on Saturday, Oct.15. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and the fee is $10. Departure time for the ride is 10 a.m. Proceeds will benefit the Relay for Life Campaign.

Worship Center

Friendly Community

Robert’s Grove

Will celebrate its 117th annual Homecoming Sunday, Oct. 2. Sunday school classes for all ages begin at 9:45 a.m. Worship service at 11 a.m. The Rev. David Charles Hansley will be the speaker. A memorial service will be included in the worship service. Lunch will be served after the services. Robert’s Grove is located at 725 Robert’s Grove Road (near Midway Middle School).

Roseboro UMC

The church’s food pantry is in great need of replenishment. Please consider donating some food that will go to help many needy people in Roseboro.

Will celebrate Homecoming, 10:45 a.m., Sunday, Sept. 25 with pastor Dr. Onyx Martin bringing the message. Music will be provided by the young adult choir. AME Zion Church

Will celebrate their 109th Homecoming at 11 a.m., Sunday, Sept. 25. They would like to make this a day for family and friends to reflect and reconnect. The speaker will be the Rev. Dr. Nathaniel McNair. The afternoon program will feature the Rev. Harry Hines and the St. Thomas AME Zion Church Family of Roseboro at 3 p.m. Union Chapel is located at 8465 Garland Hwy.

Union Grove Keener

The men’s club will have their annual program on Sunday, Sept. 25 at 4 p. m. The guest speaker will be the Rev. Jerry Johnson, choir, ushers and congregation of First Baptist of Ingold. The Pastor Aide will have a turkey barbecue plate sale on Friday, Sept. 30 at 11 a.m., at the Dollar General parking lot in Newton Grove. Plates are $6.00.
