Clement Church

of God of Prophecy

Will hold a home cooked barbecue pork sale from noon to 2 p.m. and 4 to 7 p.m. today, Nov.18. Plates with all the trimmings will be $7. Barbecue will also be sold by the pound for $7 . Eat in and take out orders will be available. There will also be a bake sale. The proceeds will go to the building fund. Thanksgiving

Worship Service

Will be held at 7 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 20, at First Baptist Church, 408 College St. Contributions of canned goods and other staple food products will be collected at the doors for the feeding ministry of First Baptist Church, 900 College St. A love offering will be received to assist the Sampson Crisis Center and U-Care Domestic Violence Center. A dessert fellowship will follow the service.

UH Church

Holy Church

Will celebrate Homecoming at 11:15 a.m, Sunday, Nov. 20. The guest speaker will be elder Anthony Flow of Greater St. Luke UHC, Rose Hill, accompanied by his choir and congregation.

Will hold its annual Goodie Gala from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 3, in the fellowship hall. Stop by and choose from a selection of holiday goodies at $6 per pound. Proceeds go to their Lottie Moon Offering for International Missions.

Will have services at 7 p.m. Friday night with sister Nicholas, sister Bailey from Dunn and pastor Capers. There will be a Joy Night service starting at 3 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 19. The prayer line is open from 7:30 a.m. until 9:30 p.m. daily.

Christian Church

Continues to worship at Hope Valley Funeral Home every Sunday at 10 a.m. and Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. The re-opening and dedication of their sanctuary will be Sunday, Dec. 4 at 4 p.m. Apostle Zebedee Sheppard along with his church family, Victory and Dominion World Outreach Center of Snow Hill will be in charge of service. Will hold a pre-Thanksgiving service on Saturday, Nov. 19, at 7 p.m., with Dr. Janie K. Robinson as speaker. Regular Sunday services are Sunday school 9:45 a.m. and worship at 11 a.m.

Red Hill MBC

Will host a “Women of the Bible” Program on Sunday, Nov. 20, at 3 p.m.

Roseboro UMC

The Roseboro Senior Citizens will meet on Tuesday, Dec. 6, at the church. They will be taking the church van to visit with the Autumn Wind residents. Please be at the church at 10:45 a.m.; the van will leave at 11 a.m. The group will return to Roseboro UMC at noon for our lunch. If you can, please bring a bag of sugar-free candy (individually wrapped hard candy) to give while visiting.

Saint Mary

Will host a singing program featuring Brothers in Christ, Men on Mission, Saint Mary, Saint Peter, New Church Christ with special guest Billy Ray and The New Gospelaires, First Baptist Church Tomahawk, Charlie Underwood and Willie and the Son of Faith at 3 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 27.

Snow Hill MBC

The adult choir will celebrate its anniversary at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 20. Other choirs will be participating also.

Will hold a youth sponsored yard sale at 7 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 19.

Unity Presbyterian

Is having a spaghetti supper on Thanksgiving Eve, Nov. 23 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. followed by a Thanksgiving Eve Service, the fundraiser is for our youth to go to church camp. The church is near Newton Grove (between Meadow and Newton Grove, Hwy. 50).

Union Grove/Keener
