Will present its Black History program entitled Our Past, Our Present and Our Future, at 6 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 18. Speakers will include: Dr. Larry Bell, Dr. Theodore B. Thomas, retired magistrate Franklin Brown, and many others. Music will also be provided.

Grove MBC

Central Baptist

Will offer a free health seminar Feb. 25 on “The Immune System.” Restart Your Life, a Lexington, S.C.-based company focused on research-driven immune support, will host a free health seminar titled “ The Importance of a Strong Immune System and its Ability to Keep You Well” from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at CBC, located 6050 Plainview Highway, Dunn. Registration begins at 9 a.m.A.J. Lanigan, a world renowned researcher and national talk show host, will be the featured guest speaker. Mr. Lanigan was educated at the University of South Carolina, School of Pharmacy, and has more than 20 years of experience in the field of immunology. The church will present Love Worth Fighting, which is live event at 6 p.m, on Saturday, March 17. The program will feature TV star Kirk Cameron and Spivey’s Corner own, Warren Barfield. Dunn Christian Women’s Connection

Anyone interested in potentially joining the Eastern Baptist Association Mission team to New Mexico on June 29 - July 7 please make plans to be at our Team Planning Meeting at Piney Grove Baptist Church at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 20. We will fill the space for our team of 25 on a first-come basis. Primary task is to assist Inlow Baptist Camp and their directors in making an eternal impact on the campers who pass through the gates of that NM Baptist Camp .

Will hold a benefit lunch and dinner for Brian “IKE” Scholl Friday, March 9, with lunch served from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. and dinner served from 4 to 7 p.m. Plates will include barbecue with potatoes, slaw, roll and dessert. A covered dish luncheon for the entire Sampson Charge will be held on Sunday, Feb. 19, noon, at Roseboro United Methodist. All members of Andrews Chapel, Beulah United Methodist and Roseboro UMC are encouraged to attend and fellowship with their fellow Methodists.

Morning worship will be at 11 a.m., Sunday, Feb. 12. Chruch will celebrate Black History. Betty Melvin of Hallsville MBC, Beaulaville, will give a special address. Pastor moderator James A. Davis will bring the message. Music will be provided by the Saint Luke MBC Choir.

Old-fashion Day will be observed Sunday, Feb. 12 beginning with Sunday school at 9:45 a.m. and regular morning worship at 11 a.m. The pastor, vice bishop Garland Mayes ,will bring the message and the senior choir will provide the music. Black History program right after service. Bible study Tuesday night at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15 is pastor Mayes birthday. The church is located in Keener.
