Clement Church

of God of Prophecy

Will have a home-cooked barbecue pork sale Friday, April 20, from noon – 2 p.m. and 4 – 7 p.m. at the church. Plates with all the trimmings will be $7. Barbecue will also be sold by the pound for $7. The World

Second annual Worship In the Park series starting May 5 and continuing every 1st and 3d Saturday of each month through September (weather permitting). at the Laurel Lakes Campground Pavilion in Salemburg. Besides it being a great community outreach, events to raise awareness and collect financial donations and accept food/hygiene donations for the homeless and disadvantaged in the Cumberland and Sampson region as well as abroad. First Baptist Warsaw

Will celebrate their Annual Men’s Day Sunday, April 15. A community choir consisting of members from Unity Male Choir, Beulaville Male Chorus, Kenansville Male Chorus, Warsaw Male Chorus and Men of the Earth will provide music. Tthe Rev. Church

The Community Gospel Male Chorus will have a musical program April 15 at 3 p.m. Several choirs and groups are scheduled to sing. Spring revival will be April 16-20. The speakers for the week are elder Jimmy Frederick Sr. and elder Dewitt. The service will begin 7:30 p.m. nightly. The “100 Women in White “service, May 12 at 6 p.m.

Roseboro UMC

The youth here at Roseboro United Methodist Church would like to invite the public to join them for a night of fellowship and fun. Rusty Martin, who plays Dylan Mitchell in the movie Courageous, from the creators of Fireproof, will be at the church April 28. The youth will be serving spaghetti, salad, green beans, rolls, tea, water, lemonade and dessert. The cost of the meal is $8 a person. The dinner will start at 4 p.m. and last until 6 p.m. Then at 7 p.m., the group will move to the sanctuary to watch the movie and hear how God has touched Rusty’s life. The Summit

Will have their annual Spaghetti Supper, Friday May 4, from 11-noon. Each plate will be $6 and will include spaghetti, veggies and tea. Homemade, desserts for purchase. A raffle will also be held that day. Grand prize is $150 cash, free mowing (up to ½ an acre-2 visits), two free container gardens (up to 12” pots) filled with colorful annuals, and one free house cleaning.
