The World
Second annual Worship In the Park series starting May 5 and continuing every 1st and 3d Saturday of each month through September (weather permitting). at the Laurel Lakes Campground Pavilion in Salemburg. Besides it being a great community outreach, events to raise awareness and collect financial donations and accept food/hygiene donations for the homeless and disadvantaged in the Cumberland and Sampson region as well as abroad. The youth here at Roseboro United Methodist Church would like to invite the public to join them for a night of fellowship and fun. Rusty Martin, who plays Dylan Mitchell in the movie Courageous, from the creators of Fireproof, will be at the church April 28. The youth will be serving spaghetti, salad, green beans, rolls, tea, water, lemonade and dessert. The cost of the meal is $8 a person. The dinner will start at 4 p.m. and last until 6 p.m. Then at 7 p.m., the group will move to the sanctuary to watch the movie and hear how God has touched Rusty’s life.
