WASHINGTON,D.C. — Mr. Preston Boone Jr., 67, formerly of Roseboro, died Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2012 at Washington Center Hospital.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 28, at Robinson Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Roseboro. Interment will follow in the Boone Family Cemetery, Roseboro.

Mr. Boone is survived by his wife, Natile Boone of the home; two daughters, Prestina Boone-Humphery of Clinton, Md., Chanell Boone of District Heights, Md.; three brothers, Lorenzo Boone of Roseboro, Harry Boone from Cameron, Larry Boone of Garner; seven sisters, Rochelle Medlin of Goldsboro, Sanka Bennett of Los Angeles, Calif., Mattie Lamb of Clinton, Pearline McLamb from Raleigh, Ruby Boone of Roseboro, Katie Meeks of Brooklyn, N.Y., Hilda Forte of Stedman; and four grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m., Wednesday, at the church.
