Red Hill Universalist Church will hold a special service at 11 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 23. Dr. Quillen H. Shinn (1845-1907) returns to Red Hill Universalist Church. Dr. Shinn will appear in the form of Dr. Doak M. Mansfield, the present minister. His topic is 1 John 4:8 ‘Whoever does not know love does not know God, because God is love.’ Dr. Shinn was known as the ‘Grasshopper Missionary’ speaking in Canada and the United States on behalf of ‘Universal Salvation’ (Original Grace rather than Original Sin). The church is located at 7031 Taylors Bridge Highway (U.S. 421 S) Clinton. Everyone is welcome no matter their faith or doubt, all are cordially received.
