GARLAND — Mr. Roger Dale “Big Bub” Boykin, 38, of 21 Odham Ave., formerly of Roseboro, died Sunday, July 8, 2012.
The funeral was held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 14, at Lakewood High School in Roseboro with the Rev. John T. Oliver officiating. Burial followed in the Roseboro-Snowhill Cemetery.
He is survived by two daughters, Rodgerick Boykin and Bella Sa’mone Boykin, both of Garland; four sons, Roderick Boykin, Jabarous Boykin, Hyatt Boykin and Drake Boykin, all of Garland; his parents, Lee D. and Earline Owens Boykin, of Roseboro; sister, Shantina Boykin, of Roseboro; two brothers, Jonathan Boykin and Joshua Boykin, both of Roseboro; his companion, Veronica Thomas, of Garland.
The public received from 2 until 7:00 PM on Friday, July 13, at Carter Funeral Home in Garland.
