Sampson Community College President Dr. Paul Hutchins formally announced the hiring of Brandon Wiggins as the SCC Foundation assistant, a position he has held for a couple months.
Wiggins is an alumnus of SCC and is finishing his Bachelor of Arts degree at Mount Olive College.
Lisa Turlington, executive director of the Foundation, said she was very happy to have Wiggins on board. “Brandon has already proven to be an asset for the Foundation during the busy fall event season. He jumped right in with our Scholar-Donor Cookout, the Appreciation Reception, the Campus Drive Kickoff and the Sampson Classic Golf Tournament. His aptitude for accounting and his comfort with technology are greatly appreciated.”
The mission of the Foundation is to develop local community support through services and gifts that meet the mission and goals of Sampson Community College.
