The Victor R. Small House is no stranger to the paranormal. Many locals even say the Sampson Arts Council building is haunted. For this reason, The Small House will be featured in an episode of “The Dead Files” on the Travel Channel Friday night, Dec. 7, at 10 p.m.
Kara Donatelli, executive director for the Arts Council, expressed that she could not expand upon the announcement due to contractual issues with the Travel Channel.
According to a program description from the network, The Dead Files is a paranormal show created by the Travel Channel. It focuses on investigating haunted locations across the United States.
The investigators bring unique skills to the show. Steve DiSchiavi is a homicide detective who retired from the New York City Police Department after working with them for more than 21 years. Amy Allan is a physical medium who specializes in communicating with the dead.
Donatelli encourages anyone interested to tune into the Travel Channel on Friday and see the story of the Small House.
