Sue M. McDaniel, 55
CLINTON — Mrs. Mary Sue Myers McDaniel, 55, of 116 Colonial Drive, died at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday at Serenity Baptist Church with the Rev. Jimmy Flowers officiating. Burial will follow in the Clinton Cemetery.
Born on Dec. 16, 1956 in Sampson County, Mrs. McDaniel was the daughter of Mary Frances Blackburn Myers and the late Preston Allen Myers. She was a member of the Serenity Baptist Church, the adult choir, and the Monday Night Ladies Group. She was a former member of the Sampson County Civitan Club and a cashier for 11 years with Ace Hardware and True Value Hardware.
She is survived by her husband, Billy McDaniel; one son, David Wayne McDaniel of Greenville; mother, Mary Frances Blackburn Myers of Clinton; siblings, Joyce M. Luna and husband, Bill of Rockford, Ill., Robert “Robbie” Allen Myers and wife, Annie of Clinton, Patty M. Conner and husband, Alan of San Antonio, Texas, and Lisa M. Hofmann and husband, Michael of Culpeper, Va.; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Royal-Hall Funeral Home Wednesday 6-9 p.m. and other times at her home.
