Talking chickens
Shane Kendall’s mom recently came to Union Elementary and talked to the second-grade class about a chicken’s life cycle. She brought three different types of chickens, talked to the students about the different facts of the life cycle, showed pictures of the inside of the egg with the stages of the chicken being developed, and answered questions the students had about chickens. Kendall spoke to the students about 4H Extension Office and the activities they offer to students. (Courtesy photo)
