Dear God, thank you for allowing all of Clinton to share a brief moment with Mr. Ronald Williams here on this earth. He was truly a well respected person in this community who will be missed but not forgotten.
God we know you make no mistakes; even when it doesn’t make sense to us, you are still God. This man, who you blessed in an awesome way, charmed this community in way that can never be replaced. His devoted time, effort and energy towards Clinton City Schools can’t be matched nor compared to.
One of his desires was to see young people get an education which could open up doors for them later in life. God you created him in a way that he could fit in with the lowest of crowds as well as the highest of people. He knew how to communicate with his “loud voice,” but yet he still could be gentle and charming. Oh what a Man of Men Mr. Williams was and how he loved people of all races and backgrounds. He loved to help people regardless of how you looked and even treated him.
He was about his calling in life and that was being a “servant.” Yes, Mr. Williams was a servant that God gave to us for a short but productive season. The seeds of wisdom that he planted will live on in all of our lives. That smile he had, that deep voice, that friendly handshake, those quick jokes he shared with us will be miss in so many ways.
God I, along with Clinton N.C., would like to say thank you for Mr. Ronald Williams and how he made a difference in this community. God may you bless and keep his lovely wife, family and friends, who are all trusting and believing that you, oh God, will see us through these tough days. Jesus comfort our hearts, and tears as our community mourns for Mr. Ronald Williams.
