In Romans 14:11, it says “ For it is written as I live, saith the Lord; Every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.”

There is coming a day, and I believe sooner than we think, that this scripture will come to pass in this world. It bothers me to see people who don’t give God the praise for everything that he has done in their lives.

I was sitting beside two ladies the other day and one of them had lost some money that was to be turned in, and she was in panic mode trying to finding it. They rehearsed all the places that it could be and had thought about how this money was to pay something off. The lady who had lost this money had said that “it would come out of her check,” if she could not find it.

So, as they were discussing this matter, they went back to their morning route and found out that she had already paid the bill off. Oh, how excited the lady who had lost the money was when she realized this; she begin saying “thank you,” “thank you” to the other lady.

As I was sitting there, I was waiting for her to give God thanks for allowing her to remember where the money was. Not once did she say “thank you Jesus,” and I was highly moved by this matter. It led me to the though that people might not call on his name now, nor do they want to admit that it’s been him the whole time keeping them, but there is coming a day when “EVERY KNEE SHALL BOW, and EVERY TONGUE SHALL CONFESS that JESUS CHRIST is LORD.”

She, along with others in this world, don’t want to give thanks to God for the many things he has blessed us with.

She was even complaining about the money being taken out of her check, and I said to myself that it was God who gave you breath to get up this morning, it was God that kept the angels around you while you were sleep; it was GOD that allowed the blood to still run warm in your body, which allowed you to go to that job; it was God that kept you from that car accident while on your way to work this morning.

Saints of God, give the Lord thanks in all you. Don’t let the day come and be like the rest of the world. Instead, bow down to Jesus, giving up pride and stubbornness, and may that day be a day of thanks unto him for all he has done.
