Three Roseboro men are facing a list of felony charges in connection with a home invasion this past weekend, in which a 15-year-old boy was shot.

Lamar Hanif Walker, 24, of 606 N. Pine St., Roseboro; Christopher Javon Parker, 24, of 606 S. East St., Roseboro; and Buddha Victoria, 31, of 2359 Old Mintz Hwy., Roseboro, were all arrested by Sampson County Sheriff’s authorities in the burglary and shooting.

“There are additional arrests expected,” Sheriff’s Capt. Eric Pope said.

Each of the three men were charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, first-degree kidnapping, first-degree burglary, larceny after breaking and entering, possession of stolen goods and felony conspiracy.

All were placed under $750,000 secured bond for the charges.

Walker was also served with an order for arrest from Durham County on a charge of possession of marijuana. He received an additional $500 bond as a result.

The felony charges stem from a home invasion reported just after 6 a.m. Saturday at 7101 Old Mintz Highway, Garland. Investigators said the front door was forced open and items were taken from the home. During the incident, a 15-year-old Magnolia resident was shot. The juvenile was treated at Sampson Regional Medical Center and discharged two days later.

A second victim, Chris Geralodeo Johnson, 27, of the Garland residence, was also at the home at the time but was not injured, Pope said. Items stolen, including a PlayStation 3 with wireless controllers, two large TVs and two yellow nail guns, were his, reports indicate. The items were valued at nearly $2,500.

Pope said a motive for the incident is not being released until other suspects are in custody.

Victoria was the first to be taken into custody, at the Law Enforcement Center on Fontana Street. Walker was arrested at a residence on the 6900 block of Old Mintz Highway and Parker was taken into custody in the parking lot of Hardee’s in Roseboro.

According to reports, a .40-caliber Taurus semi-automatic pistol was seized in connection with Walker’s arrest. A 9mm handgun was seized from Buddha, reports state.

there is much more to this story than meets the eye and when the whole story unfolds, there will be alot of people who will be sorry that they rushed to judgement. eventually those who have been captured will expose the naked truth. i dont think police investigations are authentic because i cna think of at least 5 questions that if they were asked and answered would wrap this crime completely up.#1. why was this house invaded? thats just one question and i wont go any further. i dont think this was some innocent home invasion.

This is another example of sheer ignorance. Why shot the kid? I am sure they have kids too, how would they feel if someone done this to them. These intruders are going to have to learn the hard way once they break in and someone is waiting on the other side of the door with something for them. Please get a life, a job, or something!!!!!!!!!

$750,000 bond isn't enough. make it 1.5 million. I know one of the young men and every since he was a child was always in trouble. This should put him away along with the others for a while. I'm sure there are more involved. Just let them know that it's getting cold outside and they've got to come in for some heat sometime. "Eyes are watching"
